A: The best thing you can do before your session is know what you're looking for! If you've seen photos on my website, your friends' social media pages, or even Pinterest that stick out to you, let me know and I'll keep that in mind during our shoot.

 

You can pick your own outfits and locations, and I'm always available to give advice beforehand. For locations, I typically recommend open areas with a mixture of infrastructure (stairs, bridges, buildings, and fountains) and nature (ponds, trails, fields, and flowers) to get the best use out of the space.

 

For senior and graduation sessions, many clients choose to wear one formal outfit (a dress or button-down with dress pants) and change into a more casual outfit (a school t-shirt and jeans) for another location. For professional headshots, a formal top is recommended (blazer, button-down, blouse, or formal dress).
